Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA). An assessment has been carried out by the professional qualifications approvals team against Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) at University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS). And, ACCA has certified that University College of Technology Sarawak, Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) is an ACCA Accredited Programme valid from 1 January 2019 until 31 December 2023.
The ACCA syllabus consists of 13 examinations. Nine (9) papers would be exempted as the result of ACCA Accredited Programme and thus student from Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) of UCTS is only required to sit for the remaining four (4) papers.
To launch this program for UCTS’s student, it would be perceived as a value-added and career enhancement for those students who study at UCTS.
