The School of Business and Management has organized its First Public Lecture Series, which was delivered by the School’s Adjunct Professor, Kolonel (K) Tan Sri Datuk Wira Dr. Hj. Mohd Shukor bin Hj. Mahfar, Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia.

Objectives:

• To expose students to first-hand information and experience from industrial practitioners
• To develop towering personality among students through interaction and knowledge sharing with captains of industry
• To do branding for UCTS generally and SBM specifically through academic discourse such as this
• To add value to quality assurance and enhancement of the School’s academic programmes

Around 160 participants had attended, which include staff and students of UCTS, officers and staff of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia, Sibu Municipal Council, Sime Darby Industries Sdn Bhd, Lembaga Air Sibu, as well as Kolej Laila Taib.
