The School of Business and Management (SBM), Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) programme has invited Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN), Sibu to host a tax educational talk entitled “Rahsia Jimat Cukai Tahun Taksiran 2023” under the Sahabat Hasil program on 6th March 2024. The talk was presented by LHDN officer, Encik Abd Hakim bin Hussien and his teams. The talk was attended by SBM Dean, Dr Winnie Wong Poh Ming, Deputy Dean Dr Rahmat Aidil, Heads of Programme, academic staff, administrative staff and students.

The talk aimed to emphasize the relevance of individual tax planning and ensure tax compliance. Participants get to post their questions during the Q & A session and answered by LHDN officers. The highlight of the talk was a Kahoot quiz session arranged by LHDN. The Top 20 and Top 5 players who answered the questions the fastest and correctly received special rewards from LHDN. Kudos to the Top 1 player student from the School of Built Environment, Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) programme.
